Fare Disclosure
How your airfare is structured, who charges what, and what you see on your statement.
Last updated: May 2026
AirfareHub is an independent travel agency and is not an airline, nor is it affiliated with any airline.
Dual-Rail Charge Disclosure
Your airfare is issued and charged either by the airline directly or by one of our accredited ticketing partners that books through the airline's reservation system. The company that charges your card can vary by itinerary. Before any charge is processed, we send you a signed booking authorization via DocuSign detailing exactly which company will charge your card for the airfare, the exact amount, and how the charge will appear on your statement. AirfareHub charges only its own booking fee, shown separately as AIRFAREHUB.
The Two-Part Charge Structure
Every booking coordinated by AirfareHub involves two separate charges from two separate parties. These are always disclosed to the customer in writing before any authorization is requested.
- Airline Fare, Taxes, and Fees — charged either by the airline directly or by one of our accredited ticketing partners that books through the airline's reservation system. This is not a charge by AirfareHub. The specific company charging your card, the exact amount, and the descriptor that will appear on your card statement are disclosed to you in writing before you authorize.
- AirfareHub Booking Fee — a separate charge by SL Distributors LLC, doing business as AirfareHub. This fee covers our sourcing, quoting, and booking coordination services. It will appear on your statement as AIRFAREHUB.
Ticketing Partners
AirfareHub works with more than one accredited ticketing partner. The company that issues your ticket can vary by itinerary, airline, and route. We do not list partner names on this website because the partner used for any given booking depends on factors known only at the time of quoting.
Before you authorize any charge, we will tell you in writing:
- The name of the ticketing company that will charge your card for the airfare;
- The exact dollar amount for the airfare, taxes, and fees;
- How that charge will appear on your card statement;
- The exact amount of the AirfareHub booking fee and its descriptor (AIRFAREHUB).
Authorization Requirement
No charge is made to any card until the customer has reviewed and signed a booking authorization document via DocuSign confirming the exact amounts. Amounts are confirmed in advance and do not change after authorization. Requesting a quote does not create any obligation. A booking is only initiated after the customer provides signed booking authorization for both charges.
Fare Accuracy and Market Rates
Airfares are set by the airlines and fluctuate based on availability, demand, and other market factors. A quoted fare is accurate at the time it is presented. If the fare changes before authorization, we will notify you of the updated amount before proceeding. Once you authorize, the amounts are fixed.
Taxes and Government-Imposed Fees
All quoted airfares include applicable government taxes and airport fees unless explicitly noted otherwise. These charges are mandated by governmental authorities and are not within AirfareHub's control. For more information, see our Taxes & Fees page.
Airline Trademarks
Any airline names used in the context of a booking are used solely to identify the operating carrier and remain the trademarks of their respective owners. AirfareHub has no affiliation with, and is not endorsed by, any airline.
